- No, Santa stays at the North Pole for this one
- There is a chance you may get candy but it won't be from knocking on people's doors
- No packages from Grandma (of course I was wrong on this one)
- Yes, you do have to go to school
- No cake
- No we don't turn on the Christmas lights (that are still on the porch railing b/c your Daddy is lazy)
- We most certainly do not attempt to go out to dinner
- Yes, your brother gets to have a Valentine's Day too
I explained that Valentine's Day is a day that we tell those we love how much they mean to us. I then asked him who he loved, to which he replied, "tacos ..... and syrup." Hmmmm..... I guess I shouldn't expect a card when I get home.
How about for valentine's day, you and your son take down the Christmas lights to show daddy how much you both love him? ;-)
ReplyDeleteIf that doesn't work, my daughter can explain it. She LOVES valentine's day!
this is the best I've seen really gets me smiling on a day like this!
DeleteHis questions and answer are to precious! Tacos and syrup...well there ya go Mom!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! And sounds very true to what my three year old would say! (stopping by from Voice Boks)
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Hey I got you beat... my litle girl's daddy leaves the darn Christmas lights on the entire house (roof) year round!! They do blend with the color of the trim, so it's not all that bad... heck, I don't even have a clue of what the neighbors may think... I think the lights have been up since Christmas of 2008 (I think I feel a good post coming up) wink, wink... OMG... maybe I should say something to the hubby!! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Of course he loves tacos and syrup...who doesn't!
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh! Love that he loves taco and syrup. Haha!! You are so right about those florists and chocolate companies staying in business because of us. Thanks for linking up with us at #findingthefunny this week!
